Passport returned

Finally, my passport resurfaced. It was delivered today in the same envelope I used to send it to the Mongolian embassy in June. The 50 euro note was still there! Apparently, it was never delivered to the embassy in Brussels, the red sticker of Belgian Post says 'not claimed'. Maybe it was delivered on a Saturday, when the embassy was closed, and they never went to the post office to pick it up. Subsequently it was returned to my address in July, but of course nobody was home. Then a second attempt was made to deliver it to my home address in August, again without success. Finally it got shelved at the Undeliverable Mail department in The Hague. After I returned, I found the delivery notes in my mail, and filled out a request for redelivery, which was successful at last.
